It would have helped if You stated what malware pest was deleted but returns to bug You again.

Have You already tried to return via recovery console to the last known good via before the infection? If not You can try that first.

Else try more work intensive solutions:

Check for a Browser Helper Object: they can be administered by BHODemon, freeware - explanation at 1.) download at 2.) The application can run as resident protector if wanted.

By Your description a virus resident in autostart is also possible.

Removal with e.g. ccleaner 3.) or more specialized "autostarts"

by sysinternals.4.) The later tool lets You inspect all types of possible autostarts. In the section "logon" are the interesting ones.

You can consult search engines when in doubt about processes.

Process Explorer by Sysinternals can also help You to find out about ... and to shut down processes.

Only those programs by Your hardware vendors, anti virus software, firewall and Microsoft should be in autostart.

Especially programs that put themselves in autostart again are interesting. Sometimes You must be fast after Your anti virus

or ccleaner has removed things. In rare cases You have to cut energy just after Your programs are finished with removing.

Check with autostarts "logon" and with Process explorer what is going on and what program is possibly re-started after scans.

That likely to be Your recurring "pest".

For real renitent cases. Create a Bart's PE bootable CD with Your anti virus tools e. g. at a friend's PC if You have problems on Yours. Then start Your PC and later the scan and the cleaning from that CD. Most viruses are relatively defenseless if not active.5.). That is also good for infections that have made it into recovery files.

Such a bootable pre-install-environment CD is also great to have for other maintenance work - for setting up a new system breaking forgotten pass-words...

thx for reading my post
